Dr Jeannine Griffin, a Port Lavaca native whose father founded the Port Lavaca Clinic, received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Houston, TX. She went to complete her training in Pediatrics at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest University in Winston- Salem, North Carolina where she also served as the Chief Resident in her final year of residency. She promptly returned to Port Lavaca with her husband, Dr Paul Bunnell to start her Pediatric practice in 1987. Board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, she has a special interest in childhood development and school education. She sees pediatric patients from the newborn nursery until age 18, both in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
She lives in Port Lavaca with her husband and is the proud mother of 4 sons, Griffin, Charlie, Randy, and Riley. She is an active member of the First Methodist Church in Port Lavaca, TX.
