Dr. Paul Bunnell
Dr. Bunnell,originally from Houston, received his BA in chemistry from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. He received his MD from the University of Texas in Houston, and did his internship at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin. He completed his residency at Bowman Gray School of Medicine in North Carolina.
Dr. Bunnell is an internist with Port Lavaca Clinic and has practiced there since 1986. As well as seeing patients in the office at the Port Lavaca Clinic, he admits patients who need inpatient care to the Memorial Medical Center and visits the Port Lavaca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center to provide care for his geriatric nursing home patients. In addition, Dr Bunnell performs a variety of procedures to serve his patients including joint injections, basic skin procedures and biopsies, colonscopies, upper endoscopies, percutaneous feeding tube placements, cardiac stress tests, and echocardiograms.
His wife, Jeannine Griffin, a Port Lavaca native, is a pediatrician at the clinic. They have 4 sons, Griffin, Charlie, Randy, and Riley.
